Friday Fabric Finds: Laminate from Anna Maria Horner

Finally! I have been waiting for her to come out with some new designs for so long.  I love everything that Anna Maria Horner does from her patterns to her color choices- she never disappoints! I would have to say that she is one of my top 3 fabric designers! So, she has just released her new collection, LouLouThi, and it comes in cotton, voile AND laminate! Oh my! That spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E for me! Here is just a taste of this new line.  This is from her laminate (but I believe it also comes in the cotton) and is called Tart. I want just a few yards of this beauty to recover an old chair after I've painted it the day-glo orange color! Perfection! Enjoy!

Friday Fabric Finds: Liberty of London

This week I am featuring a beautiful fabric from Liberty of London: Tana Lawn Classics. It's called Hot Pink Sarah's Secret Garden.  Such a fun and dainty floral.  Liberty of London has some amazing fabrics but you'd better be sure of the one you want at $35 a yard- ouch! But I think they're worth it.  Enjoy!

Friday Fabric Finds: Japanese Laminated Fabric

This week's fabric is dedicated to my sister Lindsey.  She actually introduced me to this wonderful laminated fabric.  I haven't purchased any yet because it is a bit pricey but it's worth it because it's so colorful and fun! Oh the things you could make with this! Enjoy!

Friday Fabric Finds: Just Wing It

This week's fabric is from MoMo by Moda.  They are quickly becoming one of my favorite fabric designers.  Starting with 'It's a Hoot" and now this! I haven't seen actual yardage for sale yet because it is so new and I don't think it's available until April but you can find the 5x5 inch quilting squares.  Those don't work for me so I will have to wait.  This collection is so darn cute! I can't wait to be able to see more of it! Here is one more picture I have found that shows more of the collection:

You can currently find it at:

Friday Fabric Finds

This week's fabric is from Moda- it's a Kate Spain design called "Central Park."  It would be lovely for baby bedding or anything child-related.  It is adorable with its muted colors and fun shapes! Enjoy!

FEATURED FABRIC

This fabric is so cute and fun with bright colors and a playful print!
This week's fabric is from Anna Maria Horner's "Little Folks" collection.
It's been around for a while but you can still find it online through some
fabric sites.  I love the purple and yellow together with the touches of
blue, red and orange.  I originally bought this fabric for cards but ended
up only using half of it- so I'm saving the rest for a special project in the
future! Don't want to waste this adorable print on just anything!

FEATURED FABRIC

I will be spotlighting a fabric that I love weekly.  Sometimes it'll be a fabric that I intend to use for card design or baby clothing, but it may be fabric that I just love for personal use.  I may be thinking, "Ooh! I want to make a pillow out of this!" or I'm undecided (except for loving it!) But I'll figure it out someday!

Today's featured fabric is by Anna Maria Horner's Little Folks Collection.  It's a voile so it's light and a little transparent.
Color: baby bouquet

I LOVE the colors that Anna Maria used. First off, I'm a grey girl so using that as a background is my favorite! I can't get enough of that deep peacock/teal paired with greens, pinks and yellows.  It's dark but with splashes of really saturated colors.  Perfect balance! I would love to make some curtains out of this one day- may using some color blocking? There are so many choices as far as pairing envelopes: I've used curry, moss, chartreuse and smoke to pair with some cards I've already made with this darling fabric!

These cards and many more are available on my website:
